Australian Crime Drama TROPPO Comes to Super Channel Fuse on Sunday, August 4

The Expanse’s Thomas Jane stars in the 8-part series described by The Guardian as an “addictive Queensland detective drama—with crocodiles.”

EDMONTON (July 16, 2024) - Super Channel is pleased to announce the Canadian premiere of the Australian crime drama Troppo. Season one (8x60) of this gripping murder mystery will debut exclusively on Super Channel Fuse on Sunday, August 4 at 9 p.m. ET, with each episode available to stream On Demand the following day.

Set in the wilds of Far North Queensland, Troppo is the story of disgraced ex-cop Ted Conkaffey (Thomas Jane) who is begrudgingly recruited by Amanda Pharrell (Nicole Chamoun) - an eccentric private investigator with a disturbing criminal past - to investigate what emerges to be the murder of a brilliant tech pioneer. As they battle to uncover the truth amid the tightly held secrets of Crimson Lake, their own traumatic pasts are dragged painfully into the present - tearing them apart, as each of them faces their own fight for sanity and indeed survival.
