New Drama Crossroad Springs Coming to Super Channel Heart & Home

When Hope Calls & Heartland alums among cast in the six-part series premiering Sunday, September 7 at 8 PM ET

TORONTO, ON – June 18, 2025: Saddle up for heartfelt storytelling, sweeping landscapes, and a fresh take on stories rooted in faith, family and the strength found in unity when Crossroad Springs makes its series debut on Super Channel Heart & Home on Sunday, September 7 at 8 PM ET.

This moving new six-part hour-long drama is built on the simple but powerful idea that the end of one road can lead to something greater. Crossroad Springs explores the journey of the Hamilton family facing a pivotal turning point and a town becoming a symbol of resilience, purpose, and hope.

Featuring a stellar ensemble cast beloved by Canadian audiences, the series stars Jonathan Stoddard (A Royal Christmas Ballet), Emily Alalato (Christmas In Maple Hills), Shaun Johnston (Heartland), Kate Drummond (Heartland/Wynona Earp), Brittany Underwood (A Royal Christmas Ballet), Jesse Hutch (A Little Women’s Christmas), Jon McLaren (“When Hope Calls”), Erin Agostino (The Jingle Bell Jubilee), and Franco Lo Presti (Bad Blood).

Crossroad Springs follows adult siblings James (Stoddard) and Janet (Alatalo) Hamilton and their aging family members, dad, Willis (Johnston), and Aunt Amy (Drummond), who are eking out a living on Hamilton Ranch with financial hardships and staffing shortages. James, a pastor in Chicago, and Janet, an ER doctor in a neighboring town, feel called to return home to help the family. Once there, the siblings encounter the son of the owner of the neighboring farm, Daniel Newman (Hutch), who are all wary of each other due to a generational feud between the families. As he settles into his new day-to-day life on the farm, James begins to realize there are no places to worship on the thousands of acres of farms. There, in the environment of come-as-you-are vibes, barns, rodeo arenas, even outdoors under clear night skies, James starts a cowboy church right there in the place where faith, family, and ranch life go hand in hand.
