Content Distribution Sales and Marketing Coordinator
Position Type: Full-Time | Temporary Contract (12-18 Months) – Parental Leave Coverage
Location: Toronto/Hybrid
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and commercially driven Content Distribution, Sales & Marketing Coordinator to support our business during a parental leave coverage period.
This role sits at the intersection of content distribution, sales enablement, marketing execution, creative coordination, and social media, playing a critical role in driving subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention.
You will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end campaigns across BDUs, OTT platforms, paid media, CRM, and social channels, while managing creative assets, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring consistent execution across all consumer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Departmental Support:
- Handle a variety of administrative responsibilities, including managing expense reports, monitoring departmental expenditures, maintaining updated contact lists, and overseeing routine correspondence.
- Oversee contract administration processes and organize the Affiliate Sales and Marketing shared drive, ensuring all documents and files are properly maintained and accessible.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to review monthly remittance reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Offer general support to the department as needed, assisting with tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Sales & Revenue Enablement:
Account Planning and Client Engagement
- Participate in planning and executing account plans, client presentations, and sales training sessions. This includes preparing materials, coordinating schedules, and assisting with the delivery of sales strategies tailored to client needs.
- Coordinate client meetings, events, and related logistics. Responsibilities include sourcing necessary materials and premiums, as well as managing budgets to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
Support and Communication with Partners
- Respond to ad hoc marketing, sales, and customer support requests, facilitating effective communication with BDU partners to maintain smooth operations and timely resolution of inquiries.
Offer Positioning and Sales Materials
- Assist in developing and coordinating offer positioning, campaign messaging, and sales materials to ensure compelling and consistent communication across all client touchpoints.
- Monitor partner campaign performance, incentives, and promotional offers, confirming that activities are aligned with established revenue targets and business objectives.
Customer Support
- Address customer inquiries and provide troubleshooting assistance to enhance customer satisfaction and retention, ensuring a positive client experience throughout all interactions.
Marketing Campaign & Creative Coordination:
- Manage campaign timelines, workflows, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Maintain integrated marketing and content calendars across all platforms and partners.
- Support development of presentations, campaign recaps, and partner updates.
- Maintain marketing and sales reporting dashboards to track performance metrics and provide insights for campaign evaluation.
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor the effectiveness of marketing and sales campaigns. Analyze data to inform future strategies and optimize ongoing initiatives.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, including drafting content, scheduling distribution, and tracking performance to enhance engagement and campaign outcomes.
- Develop and manage creative briefs to ensure alignment with campaign objectives and audience targeting. Provide clear instructions and strategic direction for asset development.
- Oversee the creative process, ensuring that assets are delivered on time and meet established marketing objectives. Manage timelines and quality control throughout production.
- Coordinate end-to-end marketing campaigns across paid media, CRM, partner channels, and social platforms. This involves overseeing all aspects of campaign execution to ensure consistency and effectiveness across various consumer touchpoints.
- Act as the liaison between marketing, creative, content, and external partners to ensure seamless execution. Facilitate communication among internal teams and external partners for unified campaign delivery.
- Paid media, such as display ads, OTT, and paid social campaigns.
- Oversee asset versioning, approvals, and deadlines across multiple campaigns. Monitor workflow to guarantee timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.
- Support creative testing strategies, including A/B testing and messaging variations, to optimize campaign performance and effectiveness.
Social Media Marketing & Content Management:
- Manage and maintain social media content calendars and planners across key platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube etc. This involves ensuring that each channel is consistently updated with relevant and timely content that aligns with overall marketing objectives.
- Coordinate the development and scheduling of both organic and promotional social content. Content planning is closely aligned with content releases, programming priorities, marketing campaigns, promotions, and important seasonal or cultural moments to maximize reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce engaging, platform-specific content. This includes short-form videos, reels, stories, and posts tailored to each social media platform’s unique audience and format requirements.
- Ensure a consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all social platforms. All published content should reflect the brand’s values and aesthetic standards to reinforce a unified brand presence.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, including engagement rates (such as likes, shares, and comments), follower growth, video views and completion rates, as well as click-through and conversion indicators. Regular analysis helps evaluate the effectiveness of content strategies and informs future planning.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize content strategy, posting cadence, and audience targeting. Data-driven feedback supports continuous improvement in both content performance and audience engagement.
- Support the integration of social media activities into full-funnel campaigns, driving awareness, acquisition, and retention. This ensures that social media efforts contribute meaningfully to broader marketing and business goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in media, entertainment, digital marketing or telecommunications industry. This background should include hands-on involvement in sales and marketing coordination, as well as practical knowledge of social media and campaign execution.
- Education: Post-secondary education in Sales, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), with a strong emphasis on analytics and data interpretation.
- Experience in email marketing tools and creative tools such as Adobe Acrobat Pro or similar marketing software and analytics tools is a plus.
