A businesswoman from Los Angeles is forced to turn to prostitution and take on the persona of 'Princess' in order to make ends meet and provide for her young daughter. She meets Tom Walsh, a detective who is working to solve the brutal killing of another prostitute named Ginger. Tom persuades Princess to help him capture a pimp who he tells her he suspects is the culprit; a boorish man named Ramrod. However, Ramrod escapes and upon learning that he was set up by the police with Princess' help, he embarks on a mission to find her.
