Allison Williams, a young ambitious attorney, has her first chance to dazzle the partners of her firm, where she strives for partnership. Unfortunately, the opposing attorney, Derrick Walker, has other plans. As the two attorneys go to war, Allison has to be a bridesmaid at a destination wedding where she meets a dashing young man, DJ, who is also in the wedding party. As they spend time together feeling start to develop between them, but Allison is dating the law partner's son, and she will soon find out that her new friend is actually not friend but foe. Allison soon discovers that "there's a fine line between love and hate."
