Super Channel Quest Launches Today

New Channel will feature docuseries and documentaries focusing on real life mysteries, discoveries and wonders of science

New Series I DIED AND CAME BACK Coming to Super Channel Quest this November

EDMONTON (September 4, 2024) – Calling all knowledge-seeking, mystery-loving enthusiasts! Super Channel is excited to announce the launch of Super Channel Quest, available today. From history and the paranormal to engineering and medical discoveries, nature’s enigmas, artificial intelligence and more, this new channel offers an intriguing and riveting mix of docuseries and documentaries that attempt to explain the unexplained, shining a spotlight on real-life mysteries through time and the many wonders of science and discovery. Don McDonald, President and CEO of Super Channel states that the new channel is a natural evolution, as viewers are increasingly drawn to programming that sparks wonder. “We're excited to present Super Channel Quest as the go-to source for content that satisfies curiosity and explores the who, what, when, where, why, and how behind some of humanity's greatest mysteries" said McDonald, adding “The channel provides us with an opportunity to showcase our extensive selection of factual content and offer a mix of channels that more adequately reflects the content our viewers want to see.”

All docuseries currently on Super Channel Fuse (except true-crime) will move over to the new channel, including fan-favourites such as Mysterious Islands, Secrets of Big Data, Forgotten Frontlines, Mysteries of the Ancient Dead, Ancient Bodies: Secrets Revealed, Ghosts Off Grid and more. Quest will also feature select Canadian programming from GinxTV Canada, which it will now replace.

New series coming to the channel will include Cursed Histories (Season 2) from Go Button Media, premiering in October, which delves into the legends that have brought waves of misfortune into the world; the all-new series I Died…And Came Back from Farpoint Films, premiering this November, that follows the true story of real people who crossed over to the other side, and then somehow managed to return; and season 4 of Secrets In The Ice from Shark Teeth Films, coming in December, which takes viewers to the most remote and inhospitable places on the planet, revealing great mysteries once frozen in time.
